Spare Parts

These are the electronics I own but rarely use - things that come off the shelf maybe once or twice a month, if that. They're not part of my daily setup, but I still like having them around.

Standalone Electronics

  • Samsung Galaxy S9+, the first phone I bought myself - a reward for getting my first software engineering job.
  • Macbook M1 Pro, a gift that I use time-to-time for access to Mac-only software.
  • Nintendo Switch, a covid purchase that is rarely used these days.
  • Bose QC 35 II, my first foray into the world of noise-cancelling.
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, the first noise-cancelling earbuds I've owned. They've since degraded to the point where it is not enjoyable to use them, but they still work, so I keep them around.
  • Sabrent M.2 SSD enclosure, mainly used to burn ISOs onto new SSDs.
  • Hp Reverb G2 Omnicept Edition I chose this because the eye-tracking is a great added feature, but I've found that even a RTX 3090 Ti isn't enough for the VR experience I desire, so it will sit on the shelf until my next PC upgrade.

IoT Devices

  • Nanoleaf Shapes (Hexagons) - these were cool, but I enjoyed the ultra black line enough to not incorporate these into my setup.
  • Nanoleaf Aurora, the OG Nanoleaf. I've since retired these because the Shapes ecosystem has better integration.

PC Components

  • MSI MEG Z690 Godlike, a motherboard from a PC upgrade that I've since moved away from.
  • SiliconPower UD90 4TB
  • Corsair LL120 White, case fans from an old build (before I upgraded to Lian Li SL infinity).
  • Misc Lian Li case fans - they came with the cases, and I removed them to put in SL infinity.
